The class provides an introduction to Unitarian Universalism and our congregation, the meaning of Membership, provides an opportunity for reflecting on our spiritual journeys, and gives folks a chance to meet others who are newer to The Community Church.... and Rev. Thom would love for YOU to join him and Rachel Rose.

If you have already taken the Exploring Membership class and feel ready to join, you can sign the Membership Book in person with Rachel Rose on any Sunday morning, or with Rev. Thom by appointment.

New Member Receptions - JUNE, OCTOBER, FEBRUARY

Leaders within our congregation joined to celebrate the many new Members who joined The Community Church over the last year. Congregational Award winners, other lay leaders and staff joined the new Members in a shared meal and a reading from Rev. Thom.

Connections Fair - SEPTEMBER
Each September, lay leaders and other volunteers participate in the life of our church by sharing and learning about the many groups within our beloved community that help us live our Mission at the Connections Fair. Twenty-five+ groups showcase their important work within and beyond our walls!

Holiday Market - DECEMBER

Each December, we continue the tradition of supporting the church AND the Creatives and Artists within our beloved community! At the start of each holiday season, the Welcoming Ministry hosts a Holiday Market, where folks showcase and sell their work, and support the church (20% of proceeds are donated to The Community Church)!

THE COMMUNITY CHURCH COOKBOOK 2020:
COPIES STILL AVAILABLE!

There are still copies available of The Community Church Cookbook 2020! It contains 130+ tantalizing recipes from dozens of enthusiastic contributors in our congregation. This cookbook, the first to our knowledge, will enhance our virtual connections through sharing beloved recipes, some that are familiar favorites on the Jones Building buffet tables, and some that are intriguingly idiosyncratic.

Order your cookbooks here - Scroll down to "Cook Book" under "One-Time Donations), or you may pay by check. The price per book is $15. Proceeds will help close the Gap for the Building Project! Chai Social(-Distancing)
On January 17, 2021, 16 members of our congregation participated in the Chai Social, enjoyed delicious chai, fun and socially-distanced fellowship in the church parking lot.

HOT COCOA SOCIAL(-DISTANCING): 12/13/20, 2-3PM

We hope you can join us! Weather-permitting, we will meet in socially-distanced assigned (& rotating!) spots in the large parking lot at church for a fun (and tasty!) social event, including hot cocoa, fun and fellowship.
For safety and Phase 3 compliance, there is a strict guest number limit, and registration is required.

Cider & Donut Social(-Distancing)

On November 8, 2020, twenty-five members of our congregation met outdoors and enjoyed fun, fellowship and cider & donuts from a safe distance.
