Agents helped both inside and outside of the main Charles House location. Outside work included raking and cleaning-up. Inside work included window washing, general spring cleaning, housekeeping needs, and music library classification.

Agents weeded, prepped beds and planted fresh plants and flowers to spruce up their flower beds at El Centro's Carrboro location

Carol Woods Retirement Community
Agents prepared a 45-60 minute concert of choir and individual pieces to perform for residents of a local retirement community. They held Morning and Afternoon sessions!

Immigrant Justice Initiative
Frank Porter Graham Elementary School
30 agents, including three families with young kids, did litter pickup, reorganized the lost and found, and worked on weeding around shrubs. Agents put together three prefab raised beds the school’s garden committee had bought, trimmed vegetation, raked away leaf litter and replaced some rotted boards and added a step on the path at the outdoor classroom. The steps were finished up around 3 in the afternoon. The principal was reportedly thrilled.

Poor People's Campaign Rally
Agents travelled together to Raleigh and joined the Poor People’s Campaign rally to advocate for living wages, health care, end to voter suppression, and other measures towards the common good.

Agents were present at a table during the Day of Service to encourage members to make their appointments for the 2024 Day of Service Spring Blood drive.
