Project Proposals
The Endowment Committee will use the criteria outlined below to evaluate project proposals.  Once the successful grant requests are selected, the Endowment Committee will seek approval at the June congregational meeting so that these grants can then be funded during the following July 1 to June 30 fiscal year.

Criteria
Any church member or pledging friend may submit a grant request on behalf of the benefiting church group or organization.  Requests are judged on the following criteria.

  • Need:  How great is the need for this project?
  • Mission fit:  How well does this project meet the mission of the church?
  • Involvement of church members:  To what degree are members/associates of the church involved in the project?
  • Reach/impact:  How many people will be served by the project and/or how widespread do you expect the outcome to be?  ​

In addition, building-program-related requests must clearly indicate how the projects fit with the needs of the building project.
