Finger Labyrinth Walking Facilitator: Paige Hall SmithDates: Thursday April 18 at 7 PM; Sunday April 21 at 2 PM The labyrinth is a walking meditation, a path of prayer, and a blueprint where psyche meets spirit. It is an ancient spiritual tool —labyrinth patterns have been discovered, as early 2000 BCE, in all regions of the world, and used by many different faith traditions. Today the labyrinth is used by both spiritual and secular organizations to promote spiritual growth and psychological well-being by providing a sacred space that helps us listen to the longings of our spirit and psyche. The use of handheld labyrinths grew during COVID, and they offer a lovely way to bring the labyrinth home for daily or regular use. This session will explore the labyrinth and offer a chance for us to “walk with our fingers.” If you don’t have your own handheld labyrinth, paper copies will be provided. You can also download the Labyrinth Journey app for use on your tablet. Handheld labyrinths can be bought in different places including from Veriditas (https://www.veriditas.org/Shop#!/Handheld-Labyrinths-Finger-Labyrinths/c/52309114). Participants will be invited to participate in 2 (20 min) zoom-based finger labyrinth walks over 2 weeks following these sessions (Tuesday April 23 and 29 at 7:30pm.) Register Here. |

If I have time, I attempt to recreate these images in either words or pictures.
