I want to thank all the parents for working so hard to make this whole crazy virtual pageant become a reality, from scheduling Zoom meetings to interpreting my instructions and dialogue so well, to turning yourselves into videographers and set designers and vocal coaches, and even being in the pageant yourselves. And especially to the children, for their enormous creativity and positive spirit. Even though we weren’t able to be physically together to create this pageant, this has truly been a collaborative community experience. But, as much pleasure as I’ve received out of putting this virtual pageant together with you, I can say unequivocally that I hope we never have to do it again!
