A Multi-generational Event for Children (K-5th Grade) and Adults

The Special bUUdies Program is a beloved annual valentine tradition at the Community Church. It is a way for a child to make a new friend of an adult in the congregation.  Each child who participates is paired with an adult congregation member.  First the adult contacts the child's parents  and then calls and corresponds with the child for several weeks. Finally they meet for a festive breakfast for conversation and activities. It is a fun, structured, safe way for friendship between the generations. Note: We do screen adults who volunteer to be bUUdies.
