Our church is supported by the generous pledging of its Members and Associates. Please consider, as best you can, how to match the Suggested Giving Guidelines.
These Giving Guidelines are customized to the Community Church of Chapel Hill, based on self-reported financial data from the Congregational Survey conducted last fall. There, 37% of respondents reported annual household incomes between $50 - $100K. About 46% of our members reported incomes in excess of $100K yearly.
Fewer than 2% of our members reported incomes less than $25K (for comparison, $23,850 is the federal poverty level for a family of four).
These Guidelines reflect our congregation's financial facts of life. If we give at the suggested levels, we can fund all of our 2014-2015 Ministry Goals.
We have varied means and circumstances. Generosity is measured differently, depending on our resources. Whether large or small, your pledge is greatly needed and appreciated.
