PROJECT: 
Volunteers will help pick up litter at the Triangle Land Conservancy Brumley Nature Preserve. TLC will provide trash bags and gloves. If Brumley South is closed due to mud and we have enough volunteers we'll pick up litter at Brumley North and along the roadsides leading up to the entrances.

Project #5:
Collecting Liquid Nutrition Supplements ( Ensure and Boost) & making cards for Meals on Wheels


ORGANIZING TEAM:  WomenCircle and Rare Women
PROJECT:  Collecting Liquid Nutrition Supplements ( Ensure and Boost) and making cards for Meals on Wheels recipients. Collection Box will be in the Commons through February. Cards will be made while tabling in February in the Community Room during the Sunday Socials.
Nutrition supplements and Cards will be delivered to Meals on Wheels on Monday, March 6.
Unlimited number of donations of nutrition supplements brought by individual church members. Would like 3-10 people after each service in Feb to some make cards.

In addition to making cards at church, people can also bring in blank cards, and/or make cards at home- 5 ½ by 4 ¼ signed with only first name. 
This service project is indoors; masks are optional.

ORGANIZING TEAM: Side With Love Team
PROJECT: Please join the Side With Love Team in a Write Now Right Now effort. We will craft a simple message for you to write on a postcard or letter to a state General Assembly leader about Medicaid Expansion or Reproductive Justice. All materials and support will be supplied. Come drop in for the hour after a morning project or just stop by for a few minutes. We will have some materials for taking home to write there if preferred. The need is great for our UU voices to be heard. This service project is indoors; masks are optional.

​ORGANIZING TEAM: Habitat for Humanity Team
PROJECT: The team will work with Habitat staff and other volunteers to bring a home closer to move-in ready. The planned work is stick framing at a house under construction. Detail on the tasks and any changes based on weather and current needs of the home site will be available a few days prior. All minor volunteers must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian on file prior to volunteering. This service project is outdoors; masks are optional.
