SUNDAY SERVICES 10:30AMAugust 7
“Belonging” Rev. Thom Belote, preaching As one of our hymns (#354) puts it, “We laugh, we cry, we live, we die; we dance, we sing our song. We need to feel there’s something here to which we can belong.” The longing to belong is a core part of experience. In Unitarian Universalism, we practice belonging in many ways – through membership, through covenant, and through programs (like the Welcoming Congregation program) that inspire us to greater inclusion. Join us this morning as we explore belonging. MUSIC NOTES: This Sunday, congregation member Eric Bannan will sing sing play two of his own songs for the Special Music, as well as provide the Gathering Music. . Regular Sunday Offerings

WE ARE A WELCOMING CONGREGATION
We are a congregation that has historically stood for the civil rights of all people, especially those affected by racism and homophobia. We are a Welcoming Congregation, celebrating and affirming the active presence in our congregation of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and heterosexual members and friends and their families. We are actively engaged in dialogue about how to be a more racially diverse, multicultural, anti-oppressive congregation. |
