Our mission is "To support and encourage the Church and its members/friends to take actions toward sustainability and better stewardship of Earth." To this end, we plan events, programs, and opportunities for church members to take action toward better care of our environment. To contact ECO or to get on our email list, send an email to ECO.

Take actions for Earth Month 2021!
These are exciting times. Hope is in the air that we can finally move to mitigate the climate crisis and to bring about a more ecologically balanced, socially and environmentally just world. With the U.S. having rejoined the Paris accord we are heading in the right direction. We at ECO are highlighting some actions you might take for this year’s Earth Day/Month, actions we hope you will continue to make an impact all year and into the future, starting in your own back yard.
ECO's Earth Actions: We have listed varied actions and activities that impact your life today and here in North Carolina. These actions are consistent with three UU principles about the worth of every person, interdependent web of life, and right of conscience and use of the democratic process.
Project Drawdown’s Earth Month EcoChallenge: If you've participated in the past, you know how much fun it is to complete the various challenges. This is a daily activity in which the whole family might participate.
Contact ECO with any questions. Happy Earth Month!
