Current Project Status
The latest updates on current status are here. The schedule of specific events will be updated regularly.
There is a new display in the Jones Building alcove, as of September 15, 2018. The bulletin board now displays updated floor plans and elevation sketches. These represent the design changes that are part of the recommended strategy for meeting our highest priority space requirements within the twin constraints of current economic forces and financial resource management. A synopsis of the recommended strategy endorsed by the Board on September 11th is available here and as a handout at the display table after each Sunday service. This display, staffed by building Task Force members, will continue to provide updated information and encourage discussion and feedback for the duration of the project development phase. We also encourage questions and comments via email from this website. A digital feedback form will be available here for downloading, after further testing, by October 1.
The Building Project Financial Task Force developed a Financial Plan, last updated in November 2017, for facilitating the project and its associated decisions. It provides both implementation steps and financial information. The plan is a living document that will evolve over time with improving information, advancing ideas, congregational decisions, and other events.
